Covid's lasting impact on public transportation

Sharing lessons learned during the COVID-19 crisis

DURHAM, N.C., October 15, 2020 – TransLoc, award-winning provider of transit technology software solutions, will sponsor a webinar in conjunction with the Association for Commuter Transportation. The webinar, COVID’s Lasting Impact on Public Transportation: Lessons to Build a More Resilient Future will stream Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020.

The majority of the country has been living unconventionally as stay-at-home and safer-at-home orders have been in effect for more than six months. Moderated by Jermaine Grant, TransLoc’s director of client strategy, this webinar will bring together some of TransLoc’s valued municipal customers to reflect on lessons learned during this unparalleled time, and how these mobility leaders predict the seismic shifts in the world of public transportation will impact their communities and the industry at large moving into 2021.

“The impact of COVID-19 on the transit community has presented unprecedented challenges,” Grant said. “We are delighted to highlight the courageous decisions made by the agencies we support in the hopes that sharing these experiences and lessons will strengthen the public transportation community as a whole as we continue to push forward amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.”

TransLoc will be joined by municipal customers Bay Area Transportation Authority, Porterville Transit, and Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Area. COVID’s Lasting Impact on Public Transportation will stream Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. EDT. Those wishing to attend the webinar can register here.
