The Movement Podcast hosts Josh Cohen and L’erin Jensen host roundtable discussion
DURHAM, N.C., May 6, 2021 - TransLoc, a leading provider of transit technology and planning solutions, will participate in Ford’s City of Tomorrow, Mobility, Equity, and Access virtual summit where The Movement Podcast co-hosts Josh Cohen and L’erin Jensen will moderate a roundtable discussion.
The Mobility, Equity, and Access virtual summit is the first of three taking place through Fall 2021. This event will address challenges in advancing equity and mobility justice and the roles current and emerging technologies can play in bettering the lives of our communities. It will also explore the collaborations between government, community members, nonprofits and the private sector required to help ensure that mobility leads to better opportunities for all.
With the Covid-19 pandemic reinforcing how interconnected we all are, from health to employment to mobility, Cohen and Jensen will be joined by a roundtable of former guests on The Movement Podcast to explore how acknowledging that interconnectedness, along with shared values, decisive leadership, and mindful action, is necessary to drive equitable mobility solutions for all.
Roundtable guests include Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer at the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority Jameson Auten, Director of the Active Transportation Division at Washington State Department of Transportation Barb Chamberlain, Transportation Planning Communications and Engagement Specialist at Foursquare ITP Jerome Horne, Maryland State Delegate Robbyn Lewis, and Program Manager of the Better Bike Share Partnership of Philadelphia Waffiyah Murray.
The session takes place May 6, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. EDT. For more information on registration, click here. TransLoc is a part of the Ford Mobility portfolio of companies.
