Vehicle Technology: The Impact of Autonomous Vehicles on Public Transit

Free to all attendees to the Expo and the Annual Meeting

There’s no question as to why large investments are being made in the technology that supports autonomous vehicles; after all, they promise to fundamentally change the rules of the road.

But, the masses crave purely demand-driven mobility, not a promise of revolutionized driving—and autonomous vehicles are the first mode to fill that need. In this presentation, you’ll explore the innate dynamism of autonomous vehicles, including how technology can support its use cases in addition to the opportunities for AVs in public transportation, deployment strategies, real-world customer benefits, and the potential—yet avoidable—pitfalls.
